The Power of Burlesque 

Rebellicious Rose's journey with burlesque began as a curiosity and quickly grew into a transformative art form. What started as an exploration of movement and performance became a path toward body acceptance, self-confidence, and creative freedom. Burlesque, for her, is more than seduction or spectacle; it is storytelling, empowerment, and connection.

Through burlesque, Rebellicious Rose sheds not only layers of costume, but also layers of shame, fear, and self-doubt. Her performances invite audiences into a world where vulnerability meets strength, and where femininity exists in all its forms.

Since 2023, Rebellicious Rose has trained at the Amsterdam School of Burlesque and has performed on various stages in the Netherlands and abroad. Highlights include multiple performances in The Phoenix Arts Club in London & Boom Chicago in Amsterdam, both in group productions and solo work, as well as acts that blend live singing with burlesque performance. She continues to develop new solo and duo acts in collaboration with performers from the burlesque community.

In addition to performing and producing, Rebellicious Rose offers burlesque workshops for those who wish to discover this empowering art form in a safe, playful, and welcoming environment.
